A: We machine the bearing bores, spoke flange face, and wheel mounting surface in a single setup, so once the part is clamped, the critical surfaces are cut without repositioning. That's the main way we keep runout low. Before shipping, we check the bore-to-flange runout with a dial indicator, and for tighter requirements we can also verify the spoke hole positions on a CMM. If you need documentation, we'll include an inspection report with the batch - so you're not just taking our word for the alignment.

A: Yes, that's doable. If you can send us a few spokes, or just the rim and the number of spokes you're running, we can measure the spoke angle, length, and end detail to determine the hole positions and the required hub offset. It's a bit more involved than copying an old hub, but it's very practical when you're building up a wheel from mixed parts or converting from one hub style to another. We'll make one sample first so you can lace the wheel and check the spoke alignment before we produce the rest.
