For cast and machined components, quality is affected long before the finished part reaches inspection.
Material, tooling, casting conditions, machining methods, tolerances, and handling can all influence the final result. At Helios, we review these factors at different stages of a project and arrange inspection according to the requirements of the part.

Material requirements are reviewed before production, with attention to material grade, certificates, mechanical properties, heat treatment, and traceability where required.

Process Quality Control
Quality checks are carried out during casting, heat treatment, machining, and other production stages to make sure critical requirements are being maintained as the part moves through the process.

Inspection & Testing
Depending on the component and project requirements, inspection may include dimensional measurement, visual inspection, material verification, CMM measurement, ultrasonic testing, and other specified checks.

Finished Product Quality Control
Before shipment, finished components are checked against the approved drawings and inspection requirements, with measurement records, inspection reports, or test results provided when required.

Quality Documentation & Traceability
Relevant quality records, including material certificates, inspection results, measurement data, and testing documentation, can be maintained according to the requirements of each project.
