A: It depends on the robot size and what it's doing, but for most standard 6-axis arms, we keep the top face flat within 0.05 mm across the mounting area. That's enough to avoid any twist or rocking when the robot bolts down. If you're running vision systems, high-precision assembly, or the robot is on a riser, we can tighten that up further and machine the bottom pads in the same setup so the base doesn't introduce its own error. The important thing is that we don't just machine the top and hope for the best - we check flatness and parallelism before it ships.

A: Yes, that's standard for us. Tell us about the robot model or send the mounting drawing, and we'll match the bolt pattern, pilot diameter, and any through-holes you need for cables or air lines. Leveling feet, extra height, anchor slots, integrated risers - all doable from the casting stage so nothing has to be bolted on afterward. If your cell layout is still being finalized, we can work from a rough sketch and adjust after the first sample. Small quantities are fine, and we'll make one base first for you to test-fit before running the rest.
